Now into its fourth year, the annual design awards ceremony hosted by Interior Motives magazine was held on the second press day of the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Open to any registered school, the competition encourages students to submit their work in any of nine different categories, with the emphasis on interior design. These categories are:

Series 19 of Top Gear returns to BBC 2 on 27th January, and we have a video trailer and details of the first episode. It’s been a bit odd without Top Gear on our screens (well, new Top Gear episodes), but normal service will resume on 27th January as series 19 of Top Gear returns to BBC2. The study for website NeedaProperty.com looked for evidence of what impact living in a street with a suggestive name could have on the value of your home. Properties on streets with innuendo-laden names were found to be around one fifth or £84,000 cheaper on average than other homes situated nearby.
